Description
ADDO (City contractor) rehabed a storm inlet recently. The throat opening is not per VDOT DI-3A series detail and the opening is about 4" in hieght. This reduces the capacity of the inlet, and potentially could cause flooding due to the inadequate throat opening. Please investigate to see if the inlet can be reset to VDOT standards. I believe ADDO is under a DPW contract. However I am unsure of who utilized this contractor for repairs, be it DPW or DPU. Please review and advise. Please reach out if you have any questions.
