Comments
- Staff · December 15, 2025A primary underground tap line was out due to a high voltage short which later became an open primary circuit situation. After a brief investigation Friday night we decided to schedule a crew to work on Saturday to investigate and make the needed repairs. The problem was found in a manhole located in front of 206 N. Meadow Street. The primary 3-way connections failed causing a catastrophic event within the manhole thus taking out the recloser for this primary circuit. The power was restored to the majority of Primary 41 on Friday night, but (3) transformers remained out until the repairs were made Saturday. Circuits #200, #201, and #202 were effected. The coverage approximation of the outage was south of Monument Ave., north of Hanover Ave., east of Strawberry Street, and west of N. Vine Street. All Primary 41 circuits were restored by late Saturday evening.
