Description
The high school has created parking along side the road in the city right of way. This impact drainage and erosion plus I do not think this is allowable by the zoning code. There needs to be clear no parking signs before the entrance and exits of the school, the FIRE HYDRANT and on the side of the road where they created parking.

- Staff · September 30, 2025A field inspection was conducted yesterday 9-29-2025. The High School referenced is Trinity High School , on Pittaway Dr. in RVA. The street has clearly marked " no parking " signs, on both the east and west side of the roadway. Any continued violation should be brought to the attention of RVA Code Enforcement Department. I've added pictures of the surface gravel that encompasses the roads easements. The storm water ditch and culverts are in good working order, with no erosion or vehicle tracking. The east side of Pittaway Dr. in front of the schools building and athletic field, is densely shaded which does not support vegetation establishment. This easement a consists of gravel, pine needles etc. The is also no erosion or vehicle tracking evident. " No Parking " signs are also placed along this east side, as well. Please note pictures attached.
