Description

This isn’t a traditional storm water basin, but is a storm water drainage system designed by the city decades ago. At the end of gun club rd and Sulgrave is a city owned, grassy lot. The city built 2 concrete drainage ditches to divert water to that lot decades ago, and the system isn’t working great today, and it causes water to go into neighboring residential lots, and has flooded my basement in the past. The issues are: 1.) the concrete ditches put in place decades ago have broken up, so they don’t direct water well. 2.) also the large amount of water that goes through this system is causing a large ditch to be created on the city owned lot due to erosion The ask is to build a better system to keep water out of the yard of 301 Marston Ln, which is next door. Maybe repair the concrete ditches, or build a catch basin to correctly direct the water
