Description

This is a high-traffic crosswalk, with one city bus and two pulse stops. People frequently run across the street without being able to see oncoming traffic behind the stopped bus. Waiting for a break in traffic to safely cross often takes a long time during high traffic times. Adding a pedestrian-activated light to this crosswalk would be safer for drivers and pedestrians.

The address that was put in seems to reference the street one block to the north. This area is a CIP project where there will be Pedestrian safety/accessibility improvements to the Shockoe Bottom BRT stations, including new lighting, sidewalk construction, curb ramps and crosswalks.
