Description
The storm drain in front of 3101 W Franklin is blocked and a dangerous temporary cover was placed on it. When the city cleaned it several months ago, the crew dropped the proper storm drain cover down the drain. This was fixed by installing a “temporary cover” with a promise that a proper drain cover will follow. However, the “temporary cover” has been in place for months and has a large gap, and sharp protruding metal edge which is dangerous. The storm drain itself is also clogged yet again. Pedestrians sometimes step on this shape edge (especially at night) and a few dogs’ paws have gotten caught in the gap. REQUEST: Please repair and replace with a proper storm drain cover. Please also unclog the storm drain again.
