Description
This was first reported in January. At that time 2 City workers cam out to look at it (holes were smaller then), placed an orange cone there and left. There has been no one or response from the City since. We had the holes filled with dirt (5 bags). As of the today the holes are back and vastly increased in since. The smaller one is now 14 inches deep and the large one is 24 inches deep. We have 2 retired civil engineers who live here and both agree the problem is with the drain pipe(s). We have now placed pink flags around the area to ensure no one accidentally steps in either hole and suffers significant injury. Because this has been ongoing for 7 months now, we request immediate attention to this. I am president of our HOA and have conferred with counsel. If any type of injury or damage should occur the City will be liable. As of 11/3 the City has done some mitigation work, including filling the holes with stone. I have also been told no leaks were found in pipes. but a small hole was found somewhere within the drain. The orange cone/barrel are still on site and I'm not sure what the actual status of this project is as there aren't any update comments. Please advise ASAP what the status and/or next steps are for this project. Thanks.
