- Staff · February 4, 2025The latest three full years of DMV crash data (1.1.22 – 12.31.24) revealed three reported crashes at the intersection of Kensington Ave and Nansemond St. Google Street view shows stop signs and stop bars on Nansemond St. Field staff will check the presence and condition of the traffic control devices and make sure they are visible to the motoring public. DPW must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection of Kensington Ave and Nansemond St does not meet the traffic requirements for an all-way stop.
