Description
Ellwood Ave & N Crenshaw Ave. This location is part of the 55 locations in the “Stop for Pedestrian In-Street Sign” project. However, since the pedestrian crossing sign is frequently hit / missing from the street, requesting that this location is added to the “Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon” project for added pedestrian visibility and safety. (It’s located in front of a children’s daycare, where families with young kids frequently cross - especially during peak vehicle traffic times.) thank you!

- Staff · September 6, 2024Ellwood Avenue is on the City's High Injury Network and a priority for speed management. Marked crosswalks are in place at intersections on either side of the daycare facility. In addition, a speed feedback sign has been operating nearby to alert drivers of their speed.
