Description

Hi Folks, I'm looking to have the culvert in the rear of my property re-established. It looks like it originally ran from the side of the rear gravel driveway of my detached garage to the larger drainage culvert that runs alongside the railroad tracks at the rear of the property. At some point prior to my ownership of the house, it looks like someone filled in the culvert and then built a fence there. I have removed the fence and dug on the side of the driveway to find the missing side of the concrete drainage pipe that was buried. I found it, which, in my mind confirms that there was in fact supposed to be a culvert there. Right now, without the completed culvert, the other side of the culvert backs up when there is a strong rain and it runs down the hill and pools around the foundation of my garage. The 4X4s that make up the base of the garage walls have rotted away in spots because of this. So, before I repair the garage or re-gravel that driveway, I'd like to get that culvert re-established and rain runoff properly running off my property. Hey folks, it's been more than a year...
