Description

A sinkhole opened next to the curb after a water line break eroded the soil under the asphalt. The water leak was fixed and the sinkhole was filled, but the hole has now re-opened and needs repair again.

    This is not a sewer related issue. The cave-in has been dye tested and is negative. It is an improper backfill after a water service repair and needs to be addressed by the Water Dept. or DPW. DPW000171830 has been opened on RVA311.
