Description

Clean the ditch and culvert along Channing. They're plugged with sediment from our property and from nearby homes. Water drains across our property, in a ditch, then under Huguenot. A culvert under the Channing and Wighton also needs cleaning. The ditch mainly needs cleaning from the Channing/Whighton culvert to the east side of the rear Church parking lot entrance, which is actually 9715 Channing, a wooded lot owned by the church. The East side ditch that needs cleaning goes almost to the light pole. The ditch then turns south along the east side of the church property. Most of the water in this ditch comes off of the streets (Channing, Dovershire & Wighton) and the yards of the homes on these streets. The church installed a large drain under the parking lot near the building rear, and in the front near Huguenot. What was done? For DPU000000421 9631 Channing Lane - 10/8/19 by Field Engineer - "... four requests on Channing are part of engineering project. Requester will be contact before project starts. Orders linked are CW# 370465,371812,351563, and 385302." Correction - Our lot stops on the East at the ditch beside the lightpole. We don't own 9715 Channing. Picture added 3 6 24 Last week CTK removed 1 large tree that was in the ditch east of our exit to Channing. We also ground the stump. This should help the drainage, and will help the city when you clean out the sediment in the ditch and culverts. the Tree in the picture was removed on 3/7/24, and the stump was ground.
