Description

Drainage ditch between 8841 and 8831 Chippenham Rd. which services a sizable portion of Chippenham is now breaking apart after many years of use. Repair is now very necessary. Would be happy to meet with an inspector.

    The attached, and images below are related to the “Subject Line” address and CW request. The damaged ditch segment is approximately 110’. The concrete ditch that was once there is now broken in places, scored, and eroded. However, as the pictures indicate the overall ditch preformance is favorable and the 18” galvanized crossroad pipe is in good shape. The homeowner has apparently seen that the ditch is 95% clear of debris and the nearby vegetation has been adequately kept at bay as well. The homeowner has requested that the ditchline be repaired or replaced. Given the ditchline’s length and location it is suggested the task be given to a contractor if it’s condition is deemed worthy of repair.
