Description
New street light shines into bedroom of 2123 W. Main Street. Please shade this light. Lights installed on W Main Street are also not dark sky compliant / light pollution. This is direct violation of Richmond 300 Master Plan, Objective 17.8 Reduce light pollution. “a. Seek and develop strategies to achieve certification as an International Dark Sky Community. b. Install hooded light fixtures on public rights-of- way to reduce light pollution and reduce effect on nocturnal species.” Ch 6, Pg 178
