Description
The city was doing road / gas line work a while back and filled in the drain with excess soil and asphalt. The drain is on the southeast corner of the intersection, on the east side of Roane Street.

- Staff · June 18, 2023D. Rivers assess this location & found Drop Inlet converted to grate by DPU Storm Water Utility personnel filled with sediments & hay. Immediate action: A. Riccio instructed to have crew remove sediment from grate. All inlets were free of debris inside of the basin. Erosion control devices were left on grate inlet by Gas contractor. Found: Citizen @ Lion Den noted one basin with large opening & missing top. Cones & broad left on basin for safety. Supervisor instructed to secure this better until repairs can be made. Reduce slot opening which is currently at least 2.5' wide & replace top on inlet.
