Description

Steel plate placed in the road 8/22; caller states a hole has formed on the side of the plate and the road is collapsing clasping on the edge of the street and dirt has started to sink into the hole.

    Soft transfer to DPU indicated he would dispatch someone out today to investigate the steel plate caving into hole.

    Caller states a 2nd hole is forming near steel plate and there is opening at the side of the steel plate and asphalt has given way the hole is open.. The road is cracking underneath and the road is sinking. Caller states her daughter has to back out on the road that is cracking and she has her children in the car. Placed 2nd call to dispatch and 311 agent was informed DPU will have someone to contact citizen.
