Description

Prior request for crosswalk here was closed with the comment, "Crosswalks alone are not sufficient for Broad Street. Traffic must be controlled with signals to create gaps for people to safely cross." We are now requesting a streetlight with a crosswalk at this location where the bus stop sits across from Lidl. Previous info provided in DPW000127651. Google Maps street view shows additional proof of this popular crossing spot with two pedestrians on foot and bike trying to cross the busy road. Pictures of foot and bike traffic shown on Google Maps street view are now included with request.
