Description
the street light itself was just replaced but there is no shield/cover on it, so the light shines in the front corner and side windows of our house and illuminates 1/2 of our backyard. Sec. 30-670. - Location, direction or shielding. Outdoor lighting, when provided as accessory to any use, shall be located, directed or shielded so as not to shine directly on adjoining properties or to create a traffic hazard by means of glare or similarity to or confusion with traffic signals, warning lights or lighting on emergency vehicles and in addition to the light traveling way past its intended target (the street!) it is on 24hrs a day and wasting electricity. I'm glad the city has excess money to waste.
