Description

Sidewalk in 2200 block of E. Leigh Street is sinking significantly. The sidewalk has collapsed several feet laterally and several inches, if not feet, down. There is a retaining wall that is temporarily maintaining the sidewalk. The barrier fence, which protects pedestrians from falling over the edge, has also collapsed into the hole. This was previously repaird/back filled but the sinkhole returned.
