Additional neighborhood resident Mr. Wright (804-651-5223) phoned in to follow up on standing water issue, sidewalk repair referenced in service tickets DPW000085072 & DPW000119897
  • Staff · January 31, 2023
The sidewalk damage at this location is due to tree roots raising the sidewalk on its lower gradient side so that instead of the storm water sheet flowing to the street as it should it is being trapped instead against the building causing the citizen's reported issue.
  • Staff · January 31, 2023
The area of concern at this area is not that of storm water assets but rather a sidewalk gradient issue due to nearby tree roots. This request shall be closed and all relevant information to include a photo of said issue shall be forwarded to the proper division, DPW/Roadway Maintenance.
