Description

A tall wooden pole rises vertically from the corner like some giant’s toothpick planted there aeons ago. Atop said pole, a metal arm extends perpendicular to the pole, parallel to the ground below. From that arm’s terminus, light normally illuminates the intersection below. Not tonight. No illuminating photons are forthcoming. Darkness hovers over the area like a shroud. We like it not. We crave the light. Save us. (Because apparently, “out” was insufficient.)
