Description
There is a storm drain that runs the length of Hastings Dr from Hobby Hill to Wainfleet. We are at the bottom of a hill before the road starts to go up another hill. The storm drain is full of debris and is eroding our property which has a lot of trees. The trees are going to fall into the road in the erosion continues. We have already had two trees taken out for fear they would fall and block the road. This drain needs to be repaired before more damage happens.

- Staff · October 7, 2022After speaking with homeowner, Mr. Ellerbrock, it is determined the issue is not that of a Storm Water asset but rather an Urban Forestry concern of trees along the ditch line in an approximate 200' wooded area to the left of his property. The said trees are leaning more and more into the street and the concern is the trees will fall into the street. I assisted Mr. Ellerbrock in submitting his concern through RVA311 to the proper division. He was filling out the submission while we spoke. I am closing this request as it is not a Storm Water issue or asset concern.
