Description
Sink hole suddenly appeared last week (I did submit a 311 report but the city did not respond). When you look into the hole there is no bottom!! Each day a few more inches crumble in but if a car were to drive over it - the car would probably cause the sinkhole to be as large as the car and gobble it up. Or if a child were to play around it- they could fall in and get killed. We just moved in but our neighbor says that the city had been doing sewer work there a few weeks ago- so it may be from that. He said that he called 10 days ago but no one came out, and I filed a 311 last week and no one came out. So please repair this!! The city's liability is great if someone or a car falls in! **We put 4 trash/recycling large bins around the sink hole in order to try to protect the city as well as neighbors and friends from getting hurt." Have your crew drive to the street but stop BEFORE trash/recycling cans...and then look down! Not only is this sinkhole dangerous to cars and kids (who al o myself- drive down Everette and have to go the the end to turn around. Now I can' turn around. I have to back up the entire street which is yet another danger.
