Description
I am the Safety and Compliance Officer with the Department of Forensic Science and am reporting a potentially serious safety concern regarding missing street light poles and exposed wiring protruding from the sidewalk posing a potential of electrocution and other trip hazards, I need someone to verify the condition of the wires to ensure that they are not energized and remove them to below grade to eliminate trip hazards along the walking surface

- Staff · June 15, 2022Upon investigation of this area at E/S N. 4th Street 5th pole N/O E. Jackson Street installed cones over base. Also E/S N. 4th Street 6 pole base cones over base. Material to replace lights is on back order. The wire are not live and area is safe. Per KJ on 6/9/22
