Description

Culvert in ditch is full of debris. Stormwater ditch is full of vegetation and asphalt breaking off from the road. Ditch appears to stop at edge of property, doesn't continue downhill. Seems neighbour at 7140 Cherokee Rd is having similar issues.

    Sometime ago when I was on Cherokee Road I noticed a contractor putting in this pipe I was expecting a home across the street at the time I asked him if they had a permit he told me no I suggest to him at that time to stop what he was doing and get a permit he was trying to put a 24 inch concrete pipe in with no Miss utility to make a long story short he has put a 18“ x 12‘ concrete pipe which is now broke and failing they have submitted a ticket 455794 at this location for Debris in ditch asphalt roads sloping off and now because of the pipe being broke backing siltation have left message for Mr. Shearer waiting on call back.

    Spoke to Mr Shearer By pone today, then talk to Mr. Wilkins city inspector to see if there was a permit for installation of driveway and he confirmed that it was so this has been put schedule for pipe replacement 15" x 20'.

    24" x 8' has been replaced with 15" x 20' oval work is complete.
