Description
There appears to be a failure of the stormwater collection system under the sidewalk at the corner of Porter and 11th Streets. The sidewalk has started to sink in to the ground and a hole has been formed on the side of the sidewalk. A measuring tape will go in to the hole over 60" so the void is very large underneath. It is between two stormwater inlets so it appears the collection basin has failed. The void creates a serious safety hazard for small children (new daycare just opened 1/2 block away) and pets.
