Description
When it rains, water doesn’t drain from the gutter in front of our house. Then it becomes stagnant. As I type this note on my front porch, the mess in the gutter smells like sewage. Thanks for correcting this longstanding (ha, ha) problem.

- Staff · May 21, 2021Contact has been made with the resident, Karen Berndt, and after a brief discussion it is determined this is a DPW Roadway Maintenance issue. During the discussion it is discovered the stagnant water issueat the front of the residence is a gutter pan gradient issue caused by tree roots from the tree occupying the utility strip approximately 20' inward from the left side of the property. This request shall be closed out of the storm water queue and reopened in RVA311 Roadway Maintenance.
