- Staff · June 13, 2024D. Rivers assess this location on June 6th & spoke with Mr. Lessin & Ms. Alexis onsite: Found: approximately 800lft of concrete (trapezoid) drainage ditch in front of 210 Giant Dr filled with sediments & debris causing negative drainage. The wooden bollards have been damage in some location from 210 Gaint Dr to 120 Giant Dr. (DPW) will need to address this wooden bollards. Immediate action: Email sent to DPW the same day. One cavitation was found at 120 Giant Dr at the water meet. It is evident that possible repair of the water line cause damage to the concrete front & back slope wall. Patch work completed after water line work has failed or was not restored properly. DPU Storm Water Utility will make repair at this location. Immediate action: Installed one plastic plate for pedestrians safety. Mr. Lessin requested that the rails that is missing on the bridge to his entrance be replaced. D. Rivers assess & concluded that the missing rail will be replace & the existing rail replace as well to ensure both will age well together. Existing rail is very old & could have hidden erosion with a short usable life left. Note: Found one Dominion Power Utility pole damage. DPW Right-a-Way Manager informed.
