Description

My street was repaved. The paving was over the current paving. When it rains, the lip to my driveway is even with the street and the rainwater coming down the street enters my driveway and floods my front and back yards and driveway. See DPW000017095

  DPU Storm Water Personnel contacted the citizen Mr. Freedlander on 4/15/2021. Based on the conversation and comments on the existing request and past request for DPW the localized flooding is caused by the roadway being level with the driveway. Per Mr. Freedlander the problem did not exist until the roadway was overlaid. Immediate action: Due to the multiple requests a email will be sent to DPW Managers to assess for correction. Note: There is a ditch beside this property but the citizen has added video during a rain event on the DPW request in 2019 highlighting the issue is the roadway.

  Request closed to DPU Storm Water Utility Division. Citizen is not requesting service for any storm water assets but for improvement to the roadway from overlay in 2019. Email will be sent to DPW Managersin Roadway Maintenance & Paving Division.
