Description
SAFETY ISSUE! See photo. The rectangular cover fell to the bottom of the deep hole. The stone curb next to it appears to be recently cracked, a vehicle may've driven over it causing the damage. Location: start by walking across the alley that's behind 700 Admiral Graveley Blvd. Then cross the grass (Gillies Creek Park). You should see it when you reach the former road that's in the park a short distance from 700 Admiral Graveley Blvd. This hole is large and deep and will remain a serious safety issue for children and others who use this park. I strongly recommend a repair (temporary if that's the only option now) that is more secure than two traffic barrels. The city will be liable if someone falls into this hole and gets hurt or killed. The city must be able to make this site safe until a permanent repair can be done.
