Description

the drain at 602 Seneca Road takes in all the water from Grove and from the Glenburnie Park. Based on visual inspection of other storm drains in the area, this drain is not "deep/high" enough to handle all the water that comes to this low point on the street. In the past 12 months, there have been 4 occasions when the water has backed up to flood cars and come up on the property on 602 Seneca

    This location has been received and dispatched to supervisor for investigation. Please allow15 days for investigation to be completed. Supervisor will contact customer upon completion of investigation

    The area has been inspected complete with measurements and photos take. The questionable inlet is shallow with an 18" concrete lateral exit. A change to the location with height or structural sizing will have to be reviewed and approved by the storm water management and engineering dept.(s).

    nvestigation by maintain found no structure problems or defects to the culvert/ inlet. The flooding events were rain specific and unprecedented. The structure is free of debris and is capable of handling average events. The system reached capacity because of the intensity of the storm. What was required was time for the system to relieve itself. This request shall be closed to maintenance.
