Description
There is a large area of the sidewalk and street that is 1-2 feet below the rest of the street. It's where the alley and street intersect. Some cars have been bottoming out and getting scratched. It's full of water now so it's difficult to see how deep it is. On March 17, 2021, a City of Richmond trash collection truck was turning into the alley and drove into the sink hole, causing the truck to lean and damage a parked car. The police incident report is 20210317-0165. Additionally, we contacted Haskell Brown, the City Attorney.

- Staff · April 15, 2021Ticket has been reported incorrectly to the wrong agency. A new ticket is being generated for the Dept. of Public Works. This is a roadway depression due to settlement in the asphalt and curb line, no sinkholes present.
