- System · November 18, 2021follow- up on this request.
- Staff · February 1, 2022eview of the conditions determine that the ravine and the stabilizing ground cover is fixed with no relevant distress. The adjacent strip of land which has been noted as eroding shows minor signs of distress outside of one void that has been undermining at the property owners fence. This adjacent land is considered public right of way, as noted in the original sub-division plans. This strip once Harvey Ave, now is classified as an unimproved street/ alley. Therefore no action would be warranted by DPW for maintenance. The area is currently being maintained for vegetation by the property owner and partial assistance from DPW or DPR (I believe). Therefore all required actions by City Ordinances arebeing met. Additional Request for Review by DPW: Based on the findings there are no immediate concerns for encroaching erosion or failures that will effect real property. There are action itemswhich are requested by the owner to be performed in the adjacent 30’ ROW area behind the property. The request is for additional fill material/ soil to be brought in and placed/ graded to level the surface maintaining the appropriate slope for runoffpurposes, yet addressing the several low areas and small depressions in this area. DPW will need to review this area for consideration.
