Request New Streetlight

Description

The ally running behind the 400-416 Block of homes on South Harrison St. gets extremely dark at night. Specifically on the southern half of the alley, is where it gets darkest. This is a request to install a street light on the southern side of this alley. There is an existing power pole located there, that would be the ideal location for a light. Attached is a photo of the pole, and a picture of a portion of the dark alley. Residents of the homes along this alley have been dealing with people walking down the alley at night checking for unlocked vehicles & breaking into parked cars. I’ve filed three police reports in the last 4 months concerning my own vehicle getting broken into at night and have the corresponding surveillance video. This dark alley is an ideal location for break-ins.
