Description
This is a large covet that has been crushed in and there is a large gaping hole approx. 18" deep and 20" wide and it is only about 10 to 12 inches from the road way on Abbey Road at the intersection with East Weyburn by stop sign. I have asked this to be repaired with a large grate so vehicles can not slip into the hole. I have seen cars and trucks almost flip over because they are too close to the side of the road or trying to turn around. The mail carrier that is unfamiliar almost flip their vehicle often because it is somewhat hidden. I have asked this to be repaired before but to no avail. Here are the pictures. This is a major hazard to me and my family on the edge of my property at the roadway of Abbey Road and East Weyburn across from the creek on the stop sigh side. The large opening to the under road covet keeps getting larger in the end has been crushed. It needs a grated support so vehicles cannot tip over in the ditch..... Please Please fix this hazard before there is a fatality. IN the above question it ask, is the concrete missing. There is no Concrete, brick or top....It actually needs a concrete grated system whereby the water can still drain into the covet into the creek and keep people and vehicles safe. James H. Taylor, III 8142 Abbey Road Richmond VA 23235 804 320 8881
