Comments
- System · September 3, 2020confirmed that this is just a repeat of yesterday's ticket
- Staff · September 23, 2020I sent the Wilson's the following email on 9-23-2020. "Mr & Mrs. Wilson, I followed up the Investigation of your concerns, with storm water sheet flow unto your backyard patio pavers… from rear Alley and potentially the neighbors, New asphalt parking spot. -First, we contacted our Department of Public Works to address the new parking space, and it’s contact with the public alley. Mr. Conrad Hunter’s comments are attached below. -Secondly, I waited for a Rain Event…and took the attached pictures last Thursday ( 9 / 17 ) in the rain. I did not see significant / accumulated “ponding” on your back yard pavers, at that time. As you’re aware the pictures you uploaded on the City’s “ RVA 311 “ system, showed the water accumulation as a result of concentrated water volume from a garden hose. Hopefully this will be a “one time “ event, and any future Natural Storm Water run-offs, will not repeat the same conditions. However…please don’t hesitate to contact me if you do experience “ponding” as a result of increased sheet flow, in the future, or if you have any questions in this matter.
