Description

Storm water is backing up into our basement. This was very bad 2 weeks ago during the heavy rains. We had 6” of water back up into our basement. We are now seeing water coming in via our drain again. The storm water pipes in front of our house are backing up.

    Citizen called to check on the status of the request. Citizen had to call a plumber to snake the drain. Plumber was able to make it to COR sewer lateral without issue

    DPU Personnel Storm Water L.Lockett Crew Supervisor assessed location the basins at this location are not affected the water backing up in the home. Also refer to DPU Waste Water Supervisor L.Melvin ifit sanitary issue. We concluded that this was surcharge to the home system which is either a Storm Water or Waste Water issue.
