- Staff · June 2, 2020PU Storm Water personnel assessed this request on 6/1/2020 and spoke with citizen Ms. Murray on 6/2/2020: Found: Depression in utility strip due possibly to tree stump decaying. No issues with utility.No hole found. Debris discarded from cut vegetation along C & G (curb & gutter) next to 1701 Gordon Ave. Citizen onsite during assessment indicated neighbor cut vegetation from fence line at 1701 Gordon Ave not homeowner and deposited along utility strip. Citizen advised that DPU will remove vegetation when cleaning basin. Note: Found sub-basin clogged with debris on adjacent street. Catch basin on Gordon free of debris. Action: Clean sub-basin and clean lateral pipe with high pressure water. Remove debris from C & G on the side of 1701 Gordon Ave. Backfill depressed area in utility strip (grassy area) with topsoil. Seed and straw. Utility strip on the side of 1701 Gordon Ave. All area affected during this work should be restored in ordinance with City of Richmond recommendation & standards.
