Description
As there is no option to report utility water pipe leaks and I believe that underground water pipe leaks can create sinkholes, I am using this request type to report a leak that will eventually erode the subsurface underneath W 45th St. There is water seepage up from under the street directly in front of 1010 W 45th St, which has been getting worse. Water is actually pooling in the gutter from it now. In the attached photo and field visit, it might look like a spill, but this is a case where water has been up welling for 6+ weeks. No doubt freezing temps will increase the damage. Can you please send someone from DPU to investigate? Thanks.
