Description
lots of standing water in her yard due to clogged ditches. the citizen's driveway is on the verge of caving in because all the water caused damage it and the mailbox is about to fall over (DPU000003615)

- Staff · July 22, 2019DPU Storm Water Utility Division assess this request on 7/22/2019 (D. Rivers) and spoke with the citizen (Mrs. Wills) onsite: Found: Concrete trapezoid ditch (approximately 5' front & back slope with 5' flow line (base) extending over 100lft) at 7693 Granite Hall and adjacent property eroding causing erosion and stagnate water during / after rain events. At the time of the assessment driveway culvert free of all debris and sediment (no present). Positive drainage at time of assessment. Some small erosion found on outlet of driveway culvert. Immediate action: fill eroded area at outlet of driveway culvert with bank gravel/soil and stabilized the same with mat. Due to scope of work requestis forwarded to DPU Engineer for assessment and assignment to Annual Contractor. Citizen advised of scope of work beyond maintenance abilities. Maintenance personnel will complete backfilled.
