Description

Sinkhole of about 6 inches in diameter on St James St next to the CSX RR tracks. There is audible and visible water rushing inside of the hole. This could mean a water main break. You'll hear it as soon as you walk up to the hole.

  E. Cox and J. Brown assessed this location and stated that there is a visible cave-in and that there is a steady flow of clean water(water main break). They reported their finding to Base1 to have the location dispatched to the Water Dept. They also noted that the dye test was positive on the brick sewer main. I will create a work order and refer it to D. Osborne.

  Today, T Pyzowski called to say that his crew checked this location and reported that they had made the repair to the water a while ago and that if we look we should see a permanent pavement patch where they made the repair.
