Description
Citizen is still having issues with standing water in the back of his home. He stated that City workers came out to his home approximately 2-3 months ago to update the storm drain ditches in his backyard, but standing water is still occurring

- Staff · February 12, 2020DPU Storm Water Utility assess this request for service on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 after (2/11/2020) rain event and Mr. Fountain (Citizen) call to customer service in regard to the backyard flooding.Found: Previous work to open drop inlet and regrade ditch improve storm water runoff. Some water present during assessment but positive flow. Some leaves and debris present in ditch but otherwise positive drainage. No stagnate water in citizenbackyard at the time of the assessment. Mr. Fountain indicated he is concern about mosquito when he has a cookout and the water in the ditch. Advise citizen that DPU Storm Water will remove leaves and debris to help improve the drainage. (Photo attached to service request). J. Barbour retired but completed work on front roadside ditch per the work order attached to this service request. Request to remove the leaves will be submitted to D. Joyner, Supervisors.
