Description
Caller states the drain is clogged and causes a lot of flooding when it rains. The drain on the other side of the street does the same thing.

- Staff · February 12, 2020DPU Storm Water Personnel service inlets at this location on 2/11/2020 spoke with citizen Ms. Thomas: Found: Inlet at 3601 Maryland Ave filled with root intrusion request replacement due to root intrusion. Immediate action: Some positive drainage was achieve by DPU Storm Water Maintenance personnel onsite by removing as much roots as possible. Information in regard to roots submitted to Engineer for replacement of basin with 100 % root intrusion forwarded. Assignment to by Annual Contractor to replace inlet is underway.
- Staff · March 12, 2020The following inlet has had ongoing issues. Roots have overcome the structure. Multiple attempts have been made but to no avail. It is suggested this inlet be turned over to the engineer for restoration/reconstruction.
