drainage is coming from the street side ditch and it from the property above and it discolored and generating a lot of algae

    Location was investigated and algae is not a problem in the ditch line. Freshwater algae blooms are the result of an excess of nutrients, particularly some phosphates. Excess nutrients may originate from fertilizers that are applied to the lawns of the property owners. There is no concern for the algae bloom
