Description

Stormwater ditch is backed up. The standing water has turned green and has frogs in it. Citizen has three different ditches on her property, one in the front and one on the left and right side. The ditch left is the worst.

    Storm Water Utility Division Personnel starting work at this location on April 12, 2019 to remove debris and sediment from roadside ditch but found cross road culvert is eroded at Edgemont Rd & Crieff Rd.In addition, a new Drop Inlet was installed by a contractor that is no adequate for drainage. This information was shared with the Project Manager and the citizen. DPU Storm Water division personnel will replace the crossroad culvert and ask the PMto have the contractor address the drop inlet for positive drainage. Based on the elevation taken onsite on Friday, April 12, 2019 one driveway culvert at 711 Crieff Rd needs to be replace as well. DW on Edgemont Rd; dual driveway at this site.

    DPU Storm Water Personnel completed this request by installing a crossroad culvert and driveway culvert at this location. Final asphalt restoration is schedule to be completed on Friday, August 16, 2019 onthe driveway and crossroad culvert.

    Note: Engineer from CIP has the new install Drop Inlet fabricated to allow more positive drainage.
