- Staff · April 27, 2019D. Rivers & D. Joyner assess this service request and spoke with Ms. Gardner. Found: Roadside ditches filled with sediment from outlet end of culvert to crossroad culvert. Per citizen irrigation is installed. Ditches holding water at time of assessment. At the time of the assessment citizen advise that her manicure grass will be affected and erosion mat will be installed. Driveway culvert will be checked for cleaning and cleaned with high pressurewater if necessary. Solution: Contact miss utility to location underground utilities. Excavate ditch to proper depth approximately 12" and create positive slope for drainage. Back filled with acceptable material (topsoil), install erosion mat and seed heavily to encourage grass to grow for stabilization during and after rain events.
