Description

The entire street light pole is missing. There is no light, no globe, no pole. This is Quality Row block and is only a few steps from Maggie Walker National Historic Site residence and museum at 110 E Leigh Street. The situation doesn't speak well for the city. I first reported this problem November 2017.

A specialized contractor must be hired to replace street light. There are presently no contractors available to do the replacement. All available contractors have been working major jobs. If you have questions please feel free to contact Tracy Wright, General Supervisor Streetlights at 804-646-8565.
