Description

There are several manholes in the city's Northside near Battery Park that are entirely missing not only their manhole covers, but the foundation of their casings above ground have been destroyed. Animals or people could easily fall in there and get hurt or sick (or both). These manholes are in the easement bound by Roane, Wickham, and Hawthorne streets next to the AV Norell athletic fields and Napoleon taxi service's warehouse. The area is overgrown and not easily accessible.
